Flurries may fly over the weekend, cold temperatures persist

After a week of weather alerts and snow squalls, Londoners can expect a calmer weekend of weather.

Despite the lack of weather alerts, cold weather and a chance of snow remains in the forecast.

Saturday morning will feel like -14 with a wind chill, with southwest winds reaching 30 to 50 km/h. Temperatures will reach a high of 1.

Flurries may fly in the afternoon, with a 30 per cent chance lingering into the evening. Winds are expected to pick up overnight, gusting up to 60 km/h.

Sunday brings similar weather, with wind and a chance of flurries. The wind chill will feel like -17 Sunday morning.

With rain in the forecast next week, it’s a great weekend to hit the slopes while the snow lasts.
