A 19 year old of London has died after a single-vehicle collision Friday night on Highway 401. Police responded to the crash near Drumbo just before 7 p.m., closing east bound lanes between Drumbo Road and Cedar Creek Road. “A single-motor vehicle collision has claimed the life of a passenger,” said OPP Sgt. Ed Sanchuk in a video on social media. The passenger was pronounced deceased in hospital. According to Sanchuk, the driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries, while a secondary passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Highway 401 has since reopened at Oxford Road 29. Police are asking anyone with dashcam footage or information to call Oxford OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
