Cool overnight temperatures give way to warm weather ahead

Dropping down to single digits throughout the region, Wednesday evening is a reminder that fall is here.

However, Thursday morning brings mainly sunshine and a high of 22.

“Heating up for the weekend,” temperatures will reach a high of 28 degrees over the weekend, said CTV London’s meteorologist Julie Atchison.

“It will feel like summer across southern Ontario, with daytime highs from 27 to 28 and absolutely gorgeous weekend,” said Atchison.

Rain won’t be moving in until early next week, with a cold front on Tuesday.

Thursday: Mainly sunny. High 22. UV index 6 or high.

Friday: Sunny. High 26.

Saturday: A mix of sun and cloud. High 28.
