Sunshine and warmth heading into the weekend

Sunshine and warm weather continues heading into this weekend.

“Temperatures will be nice and fresh this morning and heading into the afternoon warming just a bit, we’ll hit the mid 20s with winds out of the northwest,” said CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. “The weekend will feature temperatures dipping just a bit Saturday but back into full sunshine. Gorgeous conditions.”

Atchison says a weak cold front moves in late Friday, keeping temperatures cool but definitely comfortable, with low humidity.

Looking ahead to next week, “Sunshine Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday into Thursday. The humidity will make a comeback,” said Atchison.

Friday: Sunny. Wind becoming northwest 20 km/h gusting to 40 late in the morning. High 25. UV index 8 or very high.

Friday night: Clear. Wind northwest 20 km/h gusting to 40 becoming light in the evening. Wind becoming northeast 20 gusting to 40 before morning. Low 8.

Saturday: Sunny. High 20.

Sunday: Sunny. High 20.

Monday: Sunny. High 20.

Tuesday: A mix of sun and cloud. High 20.
