Police say the explosion that levelled a west London home last month is not criminal in nature. The blast at 131 Base Line Road West rocked the neighbourhood in the early afternoon on July 29. One man was rushed to hospital with critical injuries. A natural gas line was still connected to the building as the owner was looking for a tenant. The property was known to have squatters and homeless individuals present. The investigation remains ongoing.
