One arrested after shelter-in-place warning in Strathroy, Ont.

A shelter-in-place order has been lifted in Strathroy Tuesday afternoon.

Strathroy-Caradoc and OPP officers were spotted on Scott Street West near the Princess Street intersection shortly after 1 p.m.

For nearly two hours, residents were warned to stay indoors with their doors and windows locked.

Multiple officers, some in tactical gear, were on scene.

Shortly after 3 p.m., one person appeared in front of a home with his hands over his head.

Police have confirmed an arrest.

No one was injured.
