Is Harry Potter set to play on Broadway?

After its huge success in London's West End, work is underway to transfer "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" to New York.

The Lyric theatre (formerly known as the Foxwoods Theatre) has been identified as the best venue on Broadway for the play that is set in the world of Harry Potter but nearly two decades after the final Harry Potter novel ends.

According to producers, though work on the proposed transfer is well underway, don't expect to see the play arrive on the other side of the Atlantic until 2018.
