Conservation officers in the North Battleford-area are looking for those involved in an illegal hunt. According to a Sasktip post to social media, the incident happened near Wilkie, Sask. and resulted in the waste of two pronghorn. Officers were informed about the dead animals after they were found on May 31. They are believed to have been shot between May 30 and May 31. “A cash reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading up to the arrest or conviction of the individual(s) responsible for this senseless act,” read the post. Anyone with information relevant to the investigation is asked to call the TIPP line at 1-800-667-7561. Callers can choose to remain anonymous when reporting.
