CTV News has learned that one of the two people who suffered injuries in a fire last Monday in New Sudbury has died. It was the elderly woman who had been flown to a special burn unit in Toronto. The fire broke out last Monday evening at a home near Cambrian College. An elderly man was also burned and remains in a Sudbury hospital, but he is expected to recover. The Office of the Fire Marshal is still looking into what caused the blaze. A tenant was able to get out of the house as well and escaped injury.
