Retired delivery truck donated to Guelph Food Bank

The Guelph Food Bank has received an unusual donation that will help them reach more people in the community.

The Guelph Food Bank has a new delivery truck thanks to Purolator.

The company donated 14 trucks across the country as part of its Purolator Tackle Hunger program. They said this year’s recipients were chosen based on transportation challenges identified through its application process.

“Reliable transportation is essential to our work, and this donated truck will help us better meet the needs of our community,” Carolyn McLeod-McCarthy, the Guelph Food Bank’s Director of Marketing, Fundraising and Community Impact, said. “We’re grateful to Purolator for helping us strengthen our food collection and distribution efforts.”
