Thousands of dollars worth of tools were stolen from a construction site in Guelph’s south-end. The Guelph Police Service officers were called to a building under construction near Scottsdale Drive and Stone Road West on Tuesday morning. A contractor told them he arrived that morning and discovered locks had been cut off of two large toolboxes in the basement of the building. A number of DeWalt and Milwaukee brand tools, including drills, grinders, saws and batteries, had been taken.
