A 32-year-old man from Guelph has been charged for possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material. The Guelph Police Service said they were contacted by the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children earlier this year about materials found online in a Microsoft account. In June, officers carried out a search warrant at a home near Gordon Street and Kortright Road. Police said several devices were seized as part of their investigation. The 32-year-old was arrested on Tuesday. Possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation materials was formerly known as child pornography.
