Two people from Guelph are facing charges after they were found in a stolen U-Haul truck. Guelph Police Service officers received complaints, around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, about a truck that had been parked on the road for a few days in the Speedvale Avenue East and Marlborough Road area. Investigators learned the truck had been reported as stolen after it was rented in June and never returned. A 31-year-old man and 27-year-old woman, both from Guelph, were charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000. The man was also charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
