Dozens of scrap rims worth around $1,000 were stolen from a Guelph business on Wednesday morning. Guelph Police were called to a business near Elizabeth Street and Victoria Road South after staff found a hole that had been cut into the surrounding fence overnight. Security video showed two suspects had arrived around 1 a.m. and parked in a lot next to the business before getting onto the property. The pair made multiple trips from the business to their vehicle and took around 40 scrap rims using a wagon and dolly. Police said they believe both suspects are men. The first suspect wore a blue jacket, jeans and possibly brown boots, while the second wore a black jacket and black pants. Police have asked anyone with information to call Const.
