We should get a break from the rain just in time for Halloween trick-or-treating. The forecast for southern Ontario is looking promising as of Thursday evening. Alexandra Pinto, CTV Kitchener’s Community Weather Host, said the rain is expected to end long before the little ghouls and ghosts head out. “Models show wet weather should be leaving us by early afternoon,” she explained. While there’s still a risk for more rain later in the night, it’s not until after all the fun comes to an end. According to Environment Canada, there’s a 60 per cent change of showers overnight.
