New Hamburg Fall Fair

When: Sept. 11 to Sept. 14

Where: 251 Jacob Street

Demolition derbies, motocross and toilet seat races are just some of what you can expect at this annual fall fair.

Guelph Jazz Festival

When: Sept. 12 and Sept. 14

Where: 42 Carden Street, Guelph

Music will be winding through Guelph as a jazz festival returns. Concerts will be happening at Royal City Mission, St. George’s Square, Art Not Shame, GCVI and Guelph Youth Music Centre.

Belmont Village Bestival

When: Sept. 12 and Sept. 13

Where: Belmont Village, Kitchener

One of the region’s biggest neighbourhood festivals returns! The event begins Friday at 7 p.m. with a concert by Sundown Saints and Whitehorse, while Arabella Park Beer Bar hosts a House of Kameleon drag show. Saturday boasts a full day of entertainment, starting at 10 a.m., with children’s entertainers, yoga classes and even more musical performances.

Knitter’s Fair in Kitchener

Kitchener-Waterloo Toys & Collectibles Show

When: Sept. 14

Where: Bingemans, 425 Bingemans Centre Drive

Feel like a kid again at the Kitchener-Waterloo Toys & Collectibles Show. More than 100 vendors, with vintage and new memorabilia, will be at the Bingemans Conference Centre.

Terry Fox Run

When: Sept. 14

Where: Across Waterloo Region

The annual Terry Fox run returns with events across Waterloo Region and surrounding communities. All money raised goes to cancer research. Fox’s older brother recently visited Guelph to share his brother’s story and lasting legacy.
