Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested two people in connection to a drug trafficking investigation. Members of several OPP units executed a search warrant in Mount Forest on Friday, seizing suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and items related to drug trafficking. A 34-year-old resident from Arthur was charged with two counts of possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking, relating to methamphetamine and an opioid. A 49-year-old from Mount Forest faces the same two trafficking charges, as well as an additional charge of possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
