A Toronto resident is accused of using fake documents to open an account at a Mount Forest bank. Ontario Provincial Police were informed of the incident around 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bank staff said the suspect tried using the falsified information to open an account. Police arrested the 52-year-old. They were charged with fraud over $5,000, personation with intent to obtain property (identity theft), four counts of possession of a forged document with intent, obstructing a peace officer, uttering a forged passport and possession of an identity document.
