Police are looking for a suspect who flashed a gun at someone who tried to intervene during an attempted vehicle theft. The Waterloo Regional Police Service said the witness saw a male trying to break into a vehicle on Brook Street near Wellington Street in Cambridge on Monday around 4:40 a.m. When the suspect was interrupted, they showed the witness a gun that had been tucked into the waistband of his pants. Police released images of the suspect and urged anyone with more information to reach out.
