Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a serious three-vehicle collision that resulted in the death of a 71-year-old Brantford man. The incident happened just after 11:00 p.m. Wednesday sometime before midnight on Highway 24 North between German School Road and Highway 5. Investigators said two other drivers suffered minor injuries. “The at fault driver was exiting a private driveway and attempting to turn left (south bound) on Highway 24. Two vehicles were driving north bound on Highway 24, when one of the two northbound vehicles collided with the vehicle pulling out, eventually colliding with the third involved vehicle,” Const. Enzo Coletta said in a email to CTV News. No charges were laid. Highway 24 reopened just after 5 a.m. Thursday. The investigation remains ongoing.
