A serious crash involving multiple vehicles has closed a stretch of a road in Fergus on Saturday. In a social media post at 6:17 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police said Wellington Road 18 was closed from Wellington Road 26 to Sixth Line following a crash involving multiple vehicles. Police did not say how many vehicles were involved but said occupants on scene were being assessed for injuries. Drivers have been asked to avoid the area.
