Huron Perth Public Health is investigating a dog biting incident in Stratford. Not only are they trying to track down the owner, but also the victim. The incident happened on Sept. 16 in the Church Street area. Public health said the dog was an Australian Shepherd with long, tan-coloured fur. A second dog was also there, described as an Australian Shepherd with long, black and white spotted fur. Dog biting incidents should be reported to the health unit so they can check to see if the animal’s vaccination status is up-to-date. Huron Perth Public Health wants to speak to the person who was bitten, the dog owner and anyone else who witnessed the attack. They can call 1-888-221-2133, ext. 3670.
