Police seize $68K worth of cocaine in Stratford

Four people have been charged in a drug trafficking investigation in Stratford.

The Stratford Police Service began working on the case back in the spring, leading to the search of a Devon Street home on June 16.

During the search, officers found 689.3 grams of cocaine, 8 grams of crystal methamphetamine, digital scales and drug packaging. Investigators believe the drugs are worth approximately $69,400.

Four people from Stratford – a 31-year-old man, a 24-year-old woman, a 26-year-old man and a 49-year-old man – were arrested. Police did not say what they were charged with, but two people were held for bail hearings.
