Police investigate after man enters backyard of Elmira home

Waterloo Regional Police are asking for the public’s help after a man entered the backyard of a home in Elmira early Saturday morning.

Police say they were notified around 3 a.m. after the man went onto a residential property in the area of Killdeer Road and First Street.

The suspect is described as approximately 5’7” and was last seen wearing dark, baggy clothing and a black beanie.

Police are asking anyone in the area with security footage from 2:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m., or anyone with information, to call 519‑570‑9777.
