Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Cambridge in critical condition

Man hit by vehicle in critical condition From CTV Kitchener: Police say charges will be laid after a crash on Ainslie Street in Cambridge left a man with life-threatening injuries.

One person was taken to hospital in critical condition Friday after being hit by a vehicle in Cambridge.

The collision happened around 10:45 a.m., on Ainslie Street.

According to Waterloo Regional Police, the 65-year-old man was hit by a pickup truck that was making a left turn out of a parking lot.

Ainslie remained closed between Main and Bruce streets until shortly before 2 p.m..

Charges are expected to be laid.
