A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash on Highway 401 Tuesday evening. In a social media post at 6:05 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police confirmed there had been a collision in the westbound lanes of a highway beyond Hespeler in Cambridge. They said the injuries were “apparently non life-threatening.” Four lanes were blocked and police warned drivers to expect delays in the area. The highway reopened around 7:30 p.m. Video from the area showed an ORNGE air ambulance helicopter landing in the area, but officials said they did not pick up any patients and the call was cancelled.
