One man has been arrested after Waterloo Regional Police were notified of a person checking car door handles on Wednesday. Officers arrived at the area of University Avenue West and Lester Street in Waterloo around 3:15 a.m. Soon after they found a man inside a vehicle, where they arrested him. Police also found multiple bank and credit cards which they believe had been stolen from other vehicles. The 30-year-old was charged with two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000, trespassing at night and theft under $5,000.
