Man airlifted; woman arrested after crash in Cambridge

Woman arrested for assaulting paramedic post-crash From CTV Kitchener's Nicole Lampa: A woman was arrested for assaulting a paramedic after a crash, and three people were hospitalized.

Three people were transported to hospital following a serious crash in Cambridge.

Crews responded to King St. East and Argyle St. South around 7:40 p.m.

A man in his 60s was airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital by Ornge air ambulance with serious injuries.

Both drivers, aged 23 and 57 respectively, were also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the 23-year-old woman was arrested at the scene for allegedly assaulting one of the paramedics.

A collision reconstruction team arrived shorty after 9:30 p.m.

The road was closed for several hours.

The crash remained under investigation through the traffic branch, and charges were pending.
