Loverboy no longer appearing at Kitchener’s Wayback Festival

There has been a change to the Wayback Festival’s lineup.

Loverboy, a Canadian rock band known for hits like “Working for the Weekend,” was scheduled to perform at the festival in Kitchener, Ont. on July 25.

However, in a social media post, the city said Loverboy will no longer be appearing due to “a health-related issue within their touring party.”

The city promised lineup updates would be coming soon.

Other performers at this year’s festival include Only Journey and Early Elton on July 24, followed by Born in the Eighties and Trooper on July 25.
