The Waterloo Regional Police Service have arrested and charged a man with attempted murder following a stabbing incident in Kitchener. Police say they responded to a home near Mill Street and Ottawa Street South Wednesday around 8:15 p.m. after reports of someone being stabbed in the area. Officers arrived on the scene to find a man who had been stabbed. He was taken to an out-of-region hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Following an investigation, police arrested the 28-year-old Kitchener man, who was then charged with attempted murder. Investigators say both the victim and the accused were known to each other prior to the incident.
