A man has been charged in connection with a crash last year that left a St. Albert woman as a double amputee. A 63-year-old St. Albert man has been charged with operating a motor vehicle dangerous to the public causing bodily harm. Raelyn Janssen was working as a landscaper on Oakridge Drive at Outlook Place on Oct. 29, 2025, when she was struck by an SUV and pinned against the parked landscaping trailer. She was taken to hospital where both of her legs were amputated from above the knee. A court summons has been issued for the accused for Thursday in St. Albert.
