K-W United defeats Toronto 2-1 in PDL soccer

CTV Kitchener: Another home win Stefan Vukovich was the hero as KW United FC picked up another home victory.

Stefan Vukovic scored late in regulation on Wednesday night giving K-W United FC a 2-1 victory over the visiting Toronto Lynx.  With the win, K-W United is now just two points out of 1^st place in Great Lakes Division with 2 games remaining in their regular season.

Leich Veidman opened the scoring for Toronto in the 39^th minute, but K-W United answered quickly with Paris Bateman scoring on a rebound in the dying seconds of the first half.  Vukovic netted the winner in the 86^th minute on a nice solo effort.

K-W United remains unbeaten on their home field this year with a record of 5-0-1 at University Stadium.  Their next game is on Saturday July 12^th against the Chicago Fire.  Game time is 7:00pm in Waterloo.
