Sandhills Public School in Kitchener was in a hold and secure at the direction of Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) Tuesday morning. The Waterloo Region District School Board posted on social media before noon that the school was under a hold and secure. Police confirmed they were in the area for a call unrelated to the school, after receiving reports of an unclothed male in the natural area. “We conducted a search and did not locate the male,” WRPS told CTV News. Just before 12:30 p.m. the school board posted that the hold and secure was lifted.
