A 19-year-old Hamilton man has been arrested as part of a Waterloo Regional Police investigation. The service’s drug and firearms unit began their investigation into a potential drug and firearms operation this past July. A search warrant was executed at a Hamilton home on Wednesday. The Steeltown native was arrested and charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, weapons trafficking, possessing a firearm with altered serial number, firearm or weapon possession contrary to a probation order, driving while under suspension, and breaching probation.
