Gun waved during Brantford road rage incident

A Brantford man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly waved a gun during a road rage incident.

Brantford Police were told he had been tailgating another vehicle on King George Road, near Powerline Road, just before 4:30 p.m. Monday.

When passing the vehicle, he allegedly yelled threats and waved a gun at the driver.

Officers arrested the man a short time later on Grand River Avenue.

Police said he had a gun, an open container of cannabis and open alcoholic drink “in clear view of the center console.”

The 48-year-old was charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, intimidation to use violence, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, driving a vehicle with open cannabis, and having care or control of a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor inside.
