A 36-year-old York resident is facing numerous charges after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Highway 6 in South Bruce. Norfolk OPP said the vehicle was stopped on Sunday afternoon and had a fake front licence plate and a rear licence plate that did not belong to the vehicle. Police also determined the driver had a G1 licence, but did not have a qualified accompanying driver. There was also a passenger in the vehicle, the vehicle was uninsured and the driver did not have a valid vehicle permit. The vehicle was seized and towed and the licence plates were seized.
