Frost possible overnight in some parts of southern Ontario

Avid gardeners in some parts of southern Ontario might want to prepare for the potential of frost between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for parts of the province including Brant County, Brantford, Hamilton, Caledonia, Haldimand County, Norfolk County, Simcoe, London, Oxford County and Woodstock.

Temperatures are expected to drop to near zero degree Celsius overnight.

“This is when we could see frost potentially damaging crops, but also we want to cover our plants,” CTV News Kitchener’s Weather Specialist Alexandra Pinto advised.
