Fog advisory issued for southwestern Ontario

Environment Canada has issued a yellow fog advisory for parts of southwestern Ontario Tuesday, warning that near-zero visibility is expected in some areas.

Locally dense fog is expected to dissipate later in the morning.

Drivers are being warned that travel may be hazardous, with visibility likely to be suddenly reduced at times.

“If driving, turn on your lights, slow down and maintain a safe following distance,” the advisory read in part.
