Fentanyl, cocaine, and hundreds of hydromorphone pills seized in Brantford drug bust

A Brantford man is facing several charges, including seven weapons-related offences, as part of a drug investigation.

The Brantford Police Service launched their investigation in October, leading to the search of a Dundas Street home on Nov. 19. Officers said they found 39.7 grams of fentanyl, 5.1 grams of cocaine, 764 Dilaudid (hydromorphone) pills, digital scales, drug paraphernalia, a crossbow, arrows and various firearm ammunition.

A 34-year-old Brantford man, who had probation orders barring him from owning weapons, was charged with possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of hydromorphone for the purpose of trafficking, seven counts of possession of a firearm or weapon contrary to a prohibition order and non-compliance with a probation order.
