Ontario Provincial Police say foul play has been ruled out as the cause of a house fire in Simcoe. Firefighters were called to Orchard Avenue around 1 p.m. on Sept. 21. During a search of the home, they found a 50-year-old. “Despite life-saving efforts by emergency responders, the individual was later pronounced deceased at hospital,” OPP said in a media release. The police investigation has now ended. They said foul play is not suspected.
