A Kitchener man has been charged for a fatal crash in Wilmot Township. A grey Toyota and white Honda collided on Aug. 1 at the intersection of Bridge Street and Diamond Road, west of Bright. The driver of the Toyota, a 70-year-old woman from Wilmot, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released her name. The 24-year-old man driving the Honda and his three passengers were transported to hospital. One of the passengers was initially said to have life-threatening injuries. On Aug. 4, the 24-year-old man was arrested. He’s been charged with dangerous operation causing death and three counts of dangerous operation causing bodily harm.
