Waterloo Regional Police have laid charges after a collision in Kitchener that left one person with non-life-threatening injuries. Police received multiple reports of a collision around 12:15 p.m. Sunday in the area of Wilson Avenue and Fairway Road South. Through their investigation, officers determined the driver of a vehicle fled the scene and struck a victim with the vehicle while leaving the area. The victim was taken to hospital. Police later located the driver and arrested a 26-year-old Brampton man. The investigation remains ongoing.
