Tips before heading to Morgan Wallen’s concert in Edmonton this weekend

The record-setting country music superstar will touch down at Rogers Centre to promote his latest mega album ‘I’m the Problem’ with fellow country stars Miranda Lambert and Brooks & Dunn.

The City of Edmonton is giving some quick tips to ensure concert goers have the best, and safest, time attending Morgan Wallen’s two concerts this weekend.

The concert for Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour is being held at Commonwealth Stadium on Friday and Saturday.

Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and people are encouraged to arrive early and not to bring bags to go through security gates faster. The stadium has a clear bag policy and small clutches that aren’t clear can’t be larger than 6.5” x 4.5”.

If you want to rock a Wallen t-shirt to remember the concert, you can buy both days ahead of the concert to save time waiting in lines.

There is no parking at the stadium, but the city is making it easy for people to get to the concert by encouraging them to take transit for free by showing their concert ticket as proof of payment. The fare is valid for 90 minutes before and after the show.

People can also utilize several Park & Ride locations in the city.

Fans will also be able to enjoy Miranda Lambert, Ella Langley, Zach John King and Brooks & Dunn as openers over the weekend.
