Tickets for the 45th Edmonton International Fringe Festival are on sale now with shows starting Aug. 13. This year’s festival features 209 productions from comedy and cabaret to drama, dance, and more across 37 venues. There will also be 16 free concerts at ATB Park and 35 outdoor performers. The Fringe’s executive Megan Dart said more than 1,600 artists from nine different countries will be participating in the 11 day festival. “The Edmonton Fringe has left an indelible mark on the city and we are so grateful to be woven into the civic fabric of what makes Edmonton a great place to live, work, play and visit,” Dart told CTV News Edmonton Wednesday. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s been a slow recovery for the festival, but Dart says they’ve grown their monthly donor base exponentially since launching a campaign in 2024. “We started that campaign with a mighty 34 monthly donors,” said Dart. “We are so grateful to celebrate that as of today, we’re up to over 840 monthly donors. “Even by giving $5 a month, that helps us keep the lights on our stages, our artists telling stories, and us deeply embedded in the community.” Fringe Unforgettable, the theme for the 2026 festival, celebrates performances, people and expected moments that linger after the curtain falls. The Edmonton Fringe Festival runs from Aug. 13 to 23. Tickets, which are capped at $20, are on sale in-person at the ATB Arts Barn and online or by phone.
