Several windows at the Edmonton Law Courts building are covered with boards after they were smashed over the Victoria Day long weekend.

A CTV News Edmonton photographer captured images of large sheets of wood over more than a dozen panes of glass at the downtown building.

Security found the broken windows on the south side of the building and west of the atrium early Monday morning, Julie Williams, director of communications for the justice minister, told CTV News Edmonton.

No injuries were reported and the damage is currently being evaluated, she added.
