Polka-dotted Quebec math-rock duo Angine de Poitrine to play Fan Park July 8

Quebec math-rock duo Angine de Poitrine will be performing their first concert outside of their home province in Edmonton on July 8.

The concert, which will be held at Fan Park, will be the only Alberta stop for the band.

Known visually for their polka-dotted outfits and papier-mâché masks, the anonymous drummer-guitarist twosome blend experimental and math rock that’s toe-tapping and often sounds like you’re a fly on the wall of their jam sesh.

Fans can access pre-sale tickets for the Edmonton show from 10 a.m. MT Wednesday to 10 p.m. MT Thursday.

Regular tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. MT.
