Edmonton police are looking for the driver of a white Jeep they believe may have struck the side of a motorcycle moments before that motorcycle crashed into another car. Two men, each riding 2004 Harley Davidsons, were going eastbound on 98 Street and 82 Avenue on Friday around 6:20 p.m. when one of the riders lost control. His bike hit the back of an eastbound 2019 Mini Cooper. The 55-year-old rider was separated from his bike and suffered serious injuries, police say. His bike went on without a driver to hit two other parked vehicles. The occupants of the Mini Cooper were unharmed. The second rider told police that just before the crash, a white Jeep hit the side of his companion’s motorcycle, causing the loss of control. Anyone with dashcam footage or who saw the incident is asked to contact Edmonton police at 780-423-4567 or submit a tip to Crime Stoppers.
