Mounties have charged a 44-year-old Stony Plain man with several child sex abuse offences and believe there may be other victims. In April, officers initiated a traffic stop after observing a vehicle driving in a concerning way, police said in a news release. Further investigation into the driver found that he was in breach of court-imposed conditions prohibiting him from being in contact with anyone under the age of 16. Parkland RCMP’s special investigation unit took over the investigation and identified an additional four victims related to other offences. Brian Jenkins has been charged with: Jenkins is remanded into custody and is to appear in court on Dec. 17. Police believe there may be more victims and encourage them to come forward. Jenkins is described as having a fair complexion with a medium build and blue eyes. He stands five-foot-10 and weighs about 230 pounds. If you or someone you know was a victim of Jenkins, please call RCMP at 825-220-2085 or 825-220-7267. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers.
