Ne-Yo, Akon to perform in Edmonton during summer tour

Ne-Yo and Akon will be coming to Edmonton for their "Nights Like This" Tour on June 19. Tickets go on sale this Friday.

Not right now (na na na), but in June, Ne-Yo and Akon will take the stage at Edmonton’s Rogers Place.

Alberta’s capital is one of 57 cities the pair is performing in for their “Nights Like This” tour.

Tickets for the June 19 show go on sale Friday.

“The ‘Nights Like This Tour’ is a nostalgia rush for longtime fans and fresh excitement to new listeners. From slow jams to club anthems, every night is built to feel like a throwback party and a celebration,” a Tuesday press release read.

Both artists are Grammy winners, known for hits like “Closer,” “Miss Independent,” “Smack That,” and “Lonely.”
