A Cold Lake man is accused of driving around Bonnyville with a long firearm resting in his lap on Thursday. The incident prompted police to order a shelter-in-place for about three hours until he was arrested. No one was hurt. The 31-year-old was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, failing to comply with release orders, and possession for the purpose of trafficking controlled drugs and substances.
